Stewart Management Company ("SMC") offers turnkey full service domicile management services in Delaware, Maine, Nevada, the Cayman Islands and other jurisdictions; independent directors for bankruptcy remote entities; independent directors for publicly traded companies pursuant to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and the New York Stock Exchange requirements; registered agent services (including agent of process for the Digital Millennium Copyright Act) and company formation services.  We also take equity interests in special purpose entities ("SPEs") to meet various business planning needs.

SMC's predecessor, DIRS, was formed in 1994 to provide commercial domicile management and registered agent services to clients, including many Fortune 500 companies, of its affiliated law firm, The Stewart Law Firm, with offices in Delaware, Maine and Nevada.  The affiliated law firm has a national practice focusing on the use of SPEs to achieve a variety of tax and business planning goals.

In order to meet the continuing needs of our clients as well as those of its affiliated law firm's clients and the broader market, SMC's expanded services are now available on a global scale.
